System requirements
Make sure you're ready for the latest and greatest operating system from Microsoft!
These are the minimum requirements for installing Windows 11 on a PC. If your device does not meet these requirements, you may not be able to install Windows 11. If you are not sure whether your PC meets these requirements, you can use the PC Health Check app to check compatibility (requires Windows 10, Click here to download).
- Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster with 2 or more cores on one compatible 64-bit processor oder System auf einem Chip (SoC).

- Internet connection and Microsoft accounts: Windows 11 Home Edition requires an internet connection and a Microsoft account to complete the device setup on first use.
Switching a device from Windows 11 Home mode to S mode also requires an Internet connection.
Internet access is required for all Windows 11 editions to perform updates and to download and use some functions. A Microsoft account is required for some functions.
Over time, additional requirements for updates and requirements for the activation of certain functions within the operating system may be added.
Some features in Windows 11 have higher requirements than those listed in the Minimum Requirements section above. Below you will find some additional details on the requirements for important functions:
- 5G-Unterstützung: requires a 5G-capable modem.
- Auto HDR: requires an HDR monitor.
- BitLocker zum Mitnehmen: requires a USB flash drive (available in Windows Pro and higher editions).
- Kunde Hyper-V: requires a processor with SLAT (Second Level Address Translation) capabilities (available in Windows Pro and higher editions).
- Cortana: requires a microphone and speaker and is currently available on Windows 11 for Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.

- Fenster Projektion: requires a display adapter that supports Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) 2.0 and a Wi-Fi adapter that supports Wi-Fi Direct.

Microsoft Office 2019 Professional Plus
The latest version of the Microsoft Office suite offers numerous improvements in terms of convenience, functionality and security. Microsoft Office 2019 Professional Plus is adapted to the new data protection regulations and is only compatible with Windows 10. The Microsoft Office 2019 Professional Plus Suite is suitable for professional users who require a full range of functions without restrictions. It includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Access and Lync. OneNote is now included directly in the Windows 10 operating system.
